Flag in Rain #1, 2025 Kye Marshall
The Maple Leaf Forever
Inspired by the resurgence of patriotism, I began to notice Canadian flags everywhere — in windows, on mailboxes, draped around trees — so I decided to photograph our flag in as many different locations as I could find and in varying weather conditions. I also discovered that when there was a wind, the flags would dance and form into beautiful poses. I was able to capture this Dance using the live function on my iPhone.
There are two collages- one is the flag in multiple environments called the Maple Leaf Forever and the second one is called the Dancing Flag.
