Joachim Oepkes
Rodin Dance, 2025

The pictures in this work are a follow-up of a previous work entitled “Botero Tango”. They are a series of images shown as a short narrative on a large flat screen monitor. The images were taken at the Rodin Museum in Paris, France. The style incorporates a film “light leak” and are two half images on one frame. The effect creates an imagined dance.

Joachim Oepkes is a multi-media artist and fine art photographer. He is known for his narrative-driven portraiture, media installations, and documentary-style abstractions.
