James Oepkes

This work is a series of colour images collected from various well-known cities of dramatic wall mounts and window displays. The images are shown as a short presentation on a flat screen monitor and results as a brief narrative.

James Oepkes is a Toronto based visual artist. Many of his works are abstract interpretations of monumental sights from his travels to Rome, London, and Paris. They are fine art framed photographs chosen from these sights. For Spectra, his second group show, he is presenting a group of images entitled “Wall Mounts and Windows” which are shown on a flat screen monitor. They are also created from his visits to European cities. He is expanding his endeavours to Gallery Arcturus, Gallery 44, and Gallery 1313 in Toronto.
